Becky Ford O’Keefe has acted, directed, and choreographed all over Lawrence. Becky graduated from Kansas University in theatre and mathematics education and received her masters in mathematics instruction. During her 33 years as a public school teacher, she has taught many ages and subjects. Currently, she teaches math at the Lawrence College and Career Academy. Becky has been involved with Summer Youth Theatre for years and has worked with rookies through high school students. Over the years, she has taught a variety of classes at the Lawrence Arts Center in addition to evaluating their drama programs as part of state grants.  She feels extremely lucky to be involved this summer and looks forward to being inspired by the creative and dramatic performers who are a part of this year's summer experience. Also, Becky is a proud alum of the Summer Youth Theatre program!
