Rosa Nussbaum
2021/22 Printmaking Artist in Residence
Rosa Nussbaum is a British/German visual artist who works at the intersection of print, performance and sculpture with an emphasis on interactivity and digital technologies. Her work explores the place where the body touches the institution through the issues of gender and immigration. She holds an MFA in Studio Art, Transmedia from the University of Texas at Austin and a BFA in Print and Time Based Media from Wimbledon College of Arts, University of the Arts, London, UK. She has exhibited internationally including a commission for Glasgow International, Glasgow, Scotland; screening of her piece Maiden Voyage at the Hiroshima MOCA and a solo exhibition Horizonland at Women and their Work Gallery, Austin TX as well as exhibiting her most recent project The Black Stick and the White Stick at the ACC Gallery in Weimar, Germany.
