Young Guerilla Artists Change the World

1st-5th grade students transformed themselves into Guerilla Artists last week and their work can be seen all around downtown.  If you’re at the Lawrence public library, be on the lookout for their zines in the stacks. If you happen to be on the hunt for some new clothes at Arizona Trading Company, check those pockets for artist trading cards.  And as you stroll down Mass in the lovely spring weather, be on the lookout for tiny brick walls with graffiti on them.  To see the artists responsible and their guerilla artist message, check out the two wheat-pasted murals on 9th and Mass (US Bank) and 7th and Mass (The Eldridge).  We are so lucky to live in a community that supports youth, education, and art!                          Guerilla Artists News Story
