Visit
Welcome to the Lawrence Arts Center! This 40,000 square-foot facility built in 2002 was funded through a public/private partnership between the City of Lawrence and a group of dedicated community donors who understood the social and civic value of the arts. The City and the community split the cost of the building’s construction, and the community gifted their half of the building to the City upon its completion, making this facility a City-owned asset.
