Summer Youth Theatre Begins!

Welcome to Summer Youth Theatre 2016!

WOW! With around 300 students involved with SYT: Much Ado About Fairy Tales, this is going to be our biggest, brightest season yet! With a long-standing reputation in the Lawrence Community, Summer Youth Theatre has been a premier theatre program creating full-scale theatre productions presenting diverse material, from cutting edge plays to Broadway classics. SYT is a performance-based theatre arts program for youth grades 1 through 12. Professional directors, choreographers, musicians, and theatre technicians observe Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts National Theatre Education Standards while working with youth to produce high quality shows performed for enthusiastic, even sold out audiences. Most importantly, SYT members have fun, make new friends, and create memories that last a lifetime!
