The Lawrence Arts Center’s Story Slam began in 2010 as a small group of storytellers gathering in the Black Box Theater. Over the years it has become a staple for those who love telling and listening to true stories shared by friends and neighbors.
In April of 2020, Story Slam went online. Almost 100 households tuned in to hear tales and engage with one another through the art of storytelling, virtually. Attendance has remained strong ever since!
We invite you to join us for a new slate of themes in 2021 from your own home. Get your favorite beverage ready and join us for music, stories and community.
