New Classes in the School of Theatre and Music!

We are so excited to share our newest class offerings for the winter/spring session. Take a look below and see what adventure is waiting for you!

 

Hands On! Storytelling and Puppetry

1st – 5th Grades      Tuesday 4-5pm

Join us on a fantastic journey across the globe using puppetry. Students will create a puppet project each week, inspired by folktales from around the world. Enrollment includes a $2 promo code.

 

Pirates in Training

1st – 5th Grades     Saturday 11:30am-12:30pm

Get out your pirate hats, swords, and boots! This class will cover the basics of being a pirate including simple stage combat, fancy pirate dance moves, and pirate vocabulary. That’s everything you need to know to join the crew!

 

Play Lab (2-3 Years): Dot

2 – 3 years     Saturday 9-10am

Join us for our new play lab series, a research-based space for very young children and their caregivers to create with artists. This session, we will focus on dancing and painting to inspire the choreography for an original spring performance, Dot. Caregivers will join their children in improvised movement and painting with brushes and hands. All sessions will be recorded.

Shakespeare in Space (One Time Workshop)

Ages 8 & Up     Saturday, February 17th     2-5pm

Using famous scenes from Shakespeare, experiment with acting in different types of theatres. Change your movements and habits to adapt to both unexpected and traditional theatrical settings.
