Jason Waker is a studio artist from Bellingham, WA. He was an Artist-in-Residence at the Archie Bray Foundation for the Ceramic Arts and a the recipient of the Taunt Fellowship Award. He has taught at numerous places nationally and internationally, such as the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution; Carnegie Museum of Art Pittsburgh; the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute in China and the International Ceramic Studio in Hungary. Walker was awarded an NCECA International Residency Fellowship for a residency in France and his work is included in major collections such as the Fine Art Museum of San Francisco, the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh and the Arizona State University Art Museum, Ceramic Research Center.
His piece, Threadfin, is now up for silent and online bidding in the 2016 Benefit Art Auction.
