We have four new teachers joining our faculty this fall!
We are so excited for what they will be bringing to LAC and into the dance studios. We know you all will love them just as much as we already do. Before the fall semester starts, here is a quick introduction to each of our new instructors.
Meet Ana Glocker!
Ana has been dancing since the age of three and has advanced training and competition experience in over ten different dance genres. Ana grew up in Colorado Springs, CO and is a current senior and part of the Honors Program at KU, where she is pursuing a dual major in Dance and Business Management. She serves as the President of KU’s University Dance Company and recently received the prestigious Elizabeth Sherbon Dance Scholarship. Ana’s passion for teaching started at her home studio where she assisted in beginning level classes from the age of 12. Ana loves working with the students at LAC and cannot wait for what the future holds!
Meet Annie Stark!
Annie is a third generation Irish dancer in her family with roots in Sligo, Ireland. She is a champion Irish dancer and teacher with the Driscoll School of Irish dance where she trains and competes year round, as well as being a company member of the dance company Ceili at the Crossroads, a company that fuses traditional and modern Irish dance with contemporary dancing. Along with being a dancer, she is an accomplished Irish fiddler, and preforms Sundays as the in-house dancer at O’Dowds Irish Pub in Kansas City. Annie studied violin at the Chicago Collage of Performing Arts, and the mixture of the two art forms encourages a unique perspective on Irish dance.
Meet Jeremy Ims!
Jeremy took his first dance class at age four, where he was a standout performer due to his fascination with a crack in the stage floor. Years later he began training at Miller Marley School of Dance and Voice, dancing with the Miller Marley Entertainers, and performing in a multitude of professional and community theater shows. He has performed at many of the theaters in the Kansas City area and has been recognized for his acting and dancing. By day, he is an aerospace engineering doctoral student and National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Kansas, working on computational fluid dynamics, i.e. supercomputer physics simulations.

Rauly comes to us with over 30 years of Street Dance Experience and 27 years of teaching experience. He truly knows how to show you the groove!
