DESCRIPTION:<div class="xdj266r x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs">Join Lawrence Arts Center Ceramics Artist-in-Residence Jason Wang for a guided tour of his current solo exhibition, Be-longing, where you’ll select a handmade ceramic cup and enjoy a curated tea tasting led by Ling-Lung Chen.</div> <div></div> <div class="x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s">Central to Jason’s practice is an exploration of community and connection through tactile mark-making. His ceramic vessels serve as vehicles for bringing people together. Experience the exhibition through touch by drinking tea from a cup created in collaboration with members of the community.</div> <div></div> <div class="x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s">Community members who participated in altering a cup will be invited to take home a different participant’s cup. Guests who did not contribute a cup are asked to leave theirs behind so that participating community members can pick them up from August 3-8.</div>
