DESCRIPTION:<span style="font-weight: 400;">Jars, a group exhibition, brings together a wide range of approaches to the jar form in contemporary ceramics. The jar form has been a staple in ceramic art for thousands of years.  These forms can simultaneously decorate a space and serve a utilitarian purpose. Artists invited to participate in this exhibit utilize various construction techniques and firing methods to create their ceramic vessels.  Jars will culminate in a rich and varied grouping of ceramic jars created by a dynamic roster of artists.</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Participating Artists:</strong> Rachel Akin, Larry Buller, Adria Chilcote, Maeve Hilgers, Huey Lee, Carol Long, Ed Noonen, Naomi Peterson, Sam Sequeira, Adelai Spears-Kennard, Kyla Strid, Nick Weddell</span> <strong>Opening Reception: Friday, August 7, 5-7pm</strong>
