DESCRIPTION:<h6>What is the SYT Internship Program?</h6> The Summer Youth Theatre’s Internship Program is open to current 8th-12th graders and college students who want to explore a hands-on theatre work-study experience. Each student will be assigned a role for a specific show and will be required to attend weekly meetings over the course of eight weeks.  The program focuses on building leadership skills and cultivating communication and problem-solving abilities. <h6>How does the internship work?</h6> Interns are required to attend weekly meetings to discuss the productions they are working on and solve problems as a group. Interns are required to be on time for each meeting, rehearsal, and production and to follow through on their assignments. Each position pays a stipend. <h6>Who can apply?</h6> Student grades 8 through 12, as well as college students are invited to apply. <h6>Do I need previous experience to apply?</h6> No experience is necessary, but it may be helpful.
