DESCRIPTION:<span style="color: #000000;">Join us for an evening with 2024-2025 Printmaking Artist-in-Residence, Anthony Corraro, as he discusses his recent solo exhibition, <em>Metamorphic Apertures</em>! </span> <span style="color: #000000;">Anthony Corraro is a printmaker who was born and raised in Tulsa, OK. He completed his BFA in Illustration from Oklahoma State University in 2015 and his MFA in Printmaking from Wichita State University in 2024. Since then, he has exhibited in several juried shows and solo exhibitions throughout the Midwest.</span> <span style="color: #000000;">Anthony is inspired by conceptual art which addresses the passage of time. His primary body of work is made up of screen prints made of fine dust which he has collected, filtered, dyed, and pulverized. His work is immediately ephemeral, vulnerable to even the slightest change of its environment. Through this process, he explores the connection between images and their materiality.</span>
