DESCRIPTION:<span style="color: #000000;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Icons are quiet, sacred objects of luminescent beauty existing between the physical and spiritual worlds. The icons Connie Ehrlich has created for this exhibition are rooted in the 15</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">th</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> Century Russian School of Iconography and based on Byzantine prototypes.  They are painted using traditional egg tempera with natural pigments and genuine gold leaf on wood panels.
