This interactive, on-your-feet, music-and-movement theatre performance comes from the ideas of very young children about trees, the passage of time as they are learning to understand it, and the real and imagined ecosystems surrounding trees. We will build this piece through a collaborative devising process based on the ideas of very young children collected in our Play Lab research series with the Community Children's Center (CCC). We will explore questions such as: What did the tree do yesterday? Who lives around the tree? How does a tree get ready for bed? What will happen when the tree grows up? Questions? Email Leah Towle, Director for A Tree Through Time or Justin Harbaugh, Director of Performing Arts
