DESCRIPTION:<p data-pm-slice="1 1 []">Join Mike Dolman for a free piano concert on Tuesday, June 18 in our Main Lobby at 6 pm in honor of Juneteenth. The program will last approximately 45 minutes. Works by: Scott Joplin, Bela Bartok, Jack Parton, and Michael Dolman.</p> Michael (Mike) Dolman is a native of Kansas City Kansas presently residing in San Francisco. Mike is a pianist for Alonzo King's LINES Ballet, and a special guest pianist for the Lawrence Arts Center Summer Dance Intensive. Mike is a noted ballet pianist, soloist, chamber musician, and composer. Mike holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from UMKC, and a Master of Music (piano performance) from the University of Northern Colorado. Mike is also a noted choral pianist (KCKs Public Schools, KC Schools, and Center Schools), and choral director. Mike is an advocate for the music of Scott Joplin, and other African American composers.
