We’ve got some excellent new ceramics classes:
Making Miniatures with Carly Slade on Wednesdays from 7-9 pm on 6/7-7/26
Is there a certain building that has always tickled your fancy? Well now you can have it all to yourself. In this class we will create tiny scale models of buildings out of clay. Use this opportunity to make buildings for the miniature Christmas village of your dreams!
Narrative Surfaces with Andrew Cho on Saturdays from 1:30-3:30 pm on 6/10-8/26
From cave paintings to webcomics, telling a story with images has always been a part of us. We will study the works of graphic storytellers past as we create our own narrative ceramics.
And we are featuring one of our favorite classes:
Handbuilding Potter with Neil Goss on Wednesdays from 7:00-9:00 pm, 6/7 -8/23
This class is perfect for the ceramist who loves the wheel and handbuilding. We will take on projects utilizing slabs, press molds, sculpting, coil-building, and wheel throwing resulting in attaching multiple components to create unique, cohesive works of ceramic art. Wheel throwing experience suggested.
