How do I book a field trip?
Please fill out the Google Form.
Where can students be dropped off?
Participants can be dropped off in front of the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 New Hampshire Street, and meet in the main lobby.
Where can we park?
There is a loading zone on the east side of New Hampshire, near 10th Street, right in front of the Arts Center. There is free 10 hour parking on the top level of the parking garage across the street from the Arts Center. There is also metered street parking and paid parking within the parking garage.
How do we find our tour guide and class?
Please check in with the front desk upon your arrival.
How do I make payment?
Payment must be made prior to the workshop, and can be made online or in person once it has been scheduled.
How many adults should we bring?
Youth must be accompanied by an adult(s). We suggest having a 10 to 1 ratio, youth to adult.
Where can we stow our stuff?
Backpacks and lunches can be left by the windows in the front lobby; this is an unlocked, community space in sight of our front desk.
Is exhibition content appropriate for all audiences?
Some exhibitions may contain challenging content. It is part of our mission to open dialogue about important topics and we use our galleries as a teaching tool to open conversation. We can advise you on specific exhibits for your age group.
What about accessibility?
We are an ADA compliant facility and we strive to make all of our events and experiences accessible to all. Please note accommodations needed in the “special circumstances” field in the Art On Demand sign up form.
Can we come early and stay late?
The Lawrence Arts Center is open to the public from 9am-9pm daily. You are invited to stay past the duration of your field trip to continue exploring the exhibits, building, and events!
