For more than 20 years Bob Tryanski has been delighting parents, teens, teachers, and professionals with his humorous, warm, autobiographical tales, coming of age stories and yarns about the quirky complexities of modern-day life. Bob is an award-winning writer, speaker, and storyteller from Lawrence, Kansas. He was born in Philadelphia, is a graduate of Syracuse University, and a former faculty member at the Newhouse School of Public Communications and Mississippi State University.
Calling all storytellers, poets, bards, yarn-spinners, AND story slammers! You don’t want to miss this 3 part workshop series to elevate your story structure and enhance your storytelling skills. Be a participating storyteller or sit back and absorb knowledge as a virtual audience.
We are kicking it off with Matthew Dicks, a 42-time MOTH StorySLAM champion and 6-time MOTH GrandSLAM winner, who will share his “Homework for Life” workshop.
Join us for two Mini-SLAM workshops adjudicated by Lawrence storytellers, Bob Tryanski and Kareen King. They will listen intently to the wonderful line-up of storytellers 6-7 minutes stories and give feedback.
