Based on the classic French fairytale by Charles Perrault and set to the beautiful musical score by Tchaikovsky, The Sleeping Beauty ballet returns to the Arts Center main stage. Join us as Princess Aurora is cursed by an evil fairy and doomed to sleep for a hundred years. Safeguarded by the Lilac Fairy, the princess is eventually awakened by the prince who loves her, and a grand celebration ensues.
