Are you looking for a way to surprise a loved one with a gift? Wishing for a way to celebrate the holidays at your business? Santa Claus and Ric Averill are ready to fly the Stage(S)Truck pickup through Lawrence with musical tunes and holiday hellos. At each event Santa Claus will make a special appearance with Ric Averill from the mobile Stage(S)Truck. Listen to holiday songs and stories with Ric and his banjo, and take socially distanced photographs with Santa. Watch this mini-performance from your front yard, driveway, or parking lot. Join family, neighbors, co-workers, and friends for an intimate 30-minute mini-performance before taking a few photos!

Safety is the most important thing to us. To ensure the health and wellness of guests and performers alike, we ask that you adhere to our safety guidelines!
Outdoor, Socially Distanced Performances:
Enjoy your mini-performance from an outdoor area where Ric Averill’s Stage(S)Truck will be parked. We ask that each group/pod maintain at least 12 feet between the truck, performers, staff, and each other’s pod groups.
Masks:
Properly worn masks will be required for all guests, staff, and performers per Arts Center policy and local health and safety guidelines. All performers, including Santa, will also wear a clear mask with a small head microphone underneath.
Photos with Santa:
Guests are allowed to take photos with Santa in two ways.
Staff Wellness Screenings:
Lawrence Arts Center staff complete daily health screenings and temperature checks prior to participating in any event or activity. Anyone reporting symptoms will not attend performances.
Weather/Changing Health Conditions:
In the event of inclement weather, you will be emailed about event postponement or pushing the event to a virtual experience.
Group/mass gathering sizes are subject to change based on the current health guidelines outlined by Douglas county. If group/mass gathering sizes change and cannot fit our current plans, you will be emailed about event postponement or pushing the event to a virtual experience.
