Print Fair Calendar 2019

April 15th Deadline for reservations

September 27th Print Fair Set Up 12-4 p.m. & Final Friday Reception 5 – 9 p.m.

September 28th Print Fair open from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Tear down 4 – 6 p.m.

Eligibility

Open to artists working in all forms of printmaking. Work must be original, fully digital reproductions and photographs are not eligible. Students, please contact us regarding special booths for Student Print Groups/Clubs.

Registration

Vendors must complete a Print Fair vendor application and submit payment with registration form online to reserve their booth. The vendor rate is $100 and is nonrefundable. Vendors receive two tables & two chairs. Checks must be made payable to “The Lawrence Arts Center.” Credit cards can be accepted via telephone.  

Spots are limited and are not guaranteed until the application, registration, and payment are complete.

Additional support services

The registration and vendor fee only covers a basic set-up. Table cloths and wall surfaces are not provided. Public Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. Please contact us in advance of registering if you have questions regarding additional support services.

Set-up & Break down

Vendor set-up will take place on Friday, September 27th 12 pm – 4 pm. The fair will open to the public on Friday, September 27th from 5 pm – 9 pm and Saturday, September 28th from 10 am – 4 pm. The fair will take place at the Lawrence Arts Center, and will occupy the main lobby, 2nd floor studio spaces, and the 2nd floor walkway. Vendors bringing supplies with them can use the convention center loading entrance and will have use of two dollies. Vendors will need to vacate the Arts Center by 6 pm on Saturday with break down to begin immediately at the end of the fair.

Sales & Reproduction

No commission on sales will be taken by the Lawrence Arts Center. All transactions must be handled directly at each vendor. The Arts Center does not offer services, such as cash or credit card access, for vendors. Artists/vendors are responsible for collecting all revenue and taxes. The Lawrence Arts Center reserves the right to reproduce submitted images by accepted vendors to promote Print Week 2019, through press releases, websites, email announcements, etc.

Liability

All reasonable care will be given to the materials on display during the Print Fair. The building will be locked and secured immediately at the end of the Preview Reception. The building will reopen at 9 am and Print Fair spaces will be monitored by staff until the start of the public fair at 10 am. The Arts Center cannot assume responsibility for the damage or loss incurred before/during/after the Print Fair, or for possible loss in transit.

Shipping

Please contact Kate Horvat prior to shipping materials. Limited storage is available. Vendors are responsible for all shipping costs to and from the event.
