Join us for a reading of The Exultant Stag, a new and original play with music written by local musician Jeff Stolz.
Local performers and community members will read this new play on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 7 pm at 10th & Mass Studios in Studio A. After the reading, participants are invited to attend a 30-minute feedback session to ask Jeff questions to help develop his play.
PLAY DESCRIPTION
Through a therapeutic relationship, Sonny can alter the absurd events of his recurring nightmare — rooted in a traumatic childhood memory of his mother — to the Roman myth of Prince Actaeon and the Goddess Diana. A nefarious dream character who feeds on emotional distress ensures that Sonny’s ability to create relief for himself remains a challenging endeavor.
