The exhibition, “Platform,” curated by Ben Ahlvers, was timed to sync with the 2016 Presidential election. In this current election season, we have been bombarded with political rhetoric, reporting, and advertising. As we inch closer to November 8th, opportunities are rife for artists to examine the political rhetoric, social realities, and our national ideals. In conjunction with the exhibition, we will be presenting a film series covering these same themes.
