Artificial Intelligence is a suite of paintings from a larger body of work that had its genesis in 2018. Ken Bini started experimenting with acrylic paint on paper as studies for large oil paintings but found the immediacy and spontaneity of image creation unmatched by the slower drying oils. These Images emerge from the process of painting, they are not preconceived but find form through intuition, the unexpected phrase, and the mystery of what is revealed. They are as ambiguous as they are solid and definitive.
