EXHIBITION: May 19 – July 1

Most of us do it without thinking. “Ok, Google, take me home” we say to our phones casually. But what makes a home? It is a place everyone searches for; it can be a house or a bar, a restaurant, a community centre; it’s more of a feeling than brick and mortar. These are spaces for communities, linked by occupations, hobbies, addictions, and pleasure. But they are in flux, ever effected by the politics, economy, and relationships that helped to create them. In this show, themes of belonging, technology, and community are investigated through ceramic and mixed media dioramas of homes from across North America.
