PRINT WEEK: Exploring :: New Works by Kelly Kotlinski @ Essential Goods
September 29, 2017 @ 8:00 am - October 25, 2017 @ 5:00 pm

Preserving a moment or a feeling of discovery is something I strive for in my work. My work is inspired by my interactions with nature and the immense details that make up one large macrocosm. I use the inspirations and memories from my explorative moments in nature to influence my work. This show is a collection of work that reflects many years of curiosity and fleeting memories.
Kelly is a Lawrence residing artist with an emphasis in printmaking, a graduate student in art education, an aspiring herbalist, a rock collector and a lover of nature. Kelly received her BFA from KU in 2009 and believes art has the power to open people up and become more curious and accepting of our world.
Throughout the duration of print week, Essential Goods will also be featuring the works of a selection of local print artists in the gallery space.
Essential Goods, located at 933 Massachusetts in downtown Lawrence, carries over 200 local and independent artisans’ works. We feature a monthly rotating gallery space and participate in Final Fridays Art Walk each month.
