Elizabeth Morisette is a fiber artist living in Fort Collins, Colo. She focuses on using the leftovers from our society and making them into art using classical fiber techniques like basket making and weaving. These works often surround a theme of environmentalism and social constructs.

Itemized is a show based on data and questions.  During the last few years, data has been questioned and the power of numbers has been skewed.  How do we navigate a new reality where numbers are questionable?  For Elizabeth Morisette, she dove back into data and numbers.  Each of the pieces in this show has been “Itemized’ for the first time.  The numbers are true (as true as she can get them) and while the impact of these numbers can be overwhelming, Morisette finds solace in the act of counting and finding data that still gives her an understanding of where she is, and where we are as a society.

Join us in counting by asking: How many?  How much?

Not only in this exhibit, but in everyday things like; How many butterflies?  How many sky contrails? How many bottle caps?

Feed your wonder through itemizing.
