The Lawrence Arts Center, in partnership with The University of Kansas School of Journalism, is searching for a Native News Anchor/Host for the live-streamed show, Good Morning Indian Country (GMIC). Paid position.

This morning news & talk show features Indian Country’s finest in business, health and education, increasing visibility and representation of Indigenous issues. Guest performers, scholars and culture-bearers ground the show in a broader political, cultural and historical context.

GMIC airs Wednesday Mornings, 10-11:30 am from Sept. 7 to Dec. 14.

Applicants should have journalistic training or be willing to learn and adhere to journalistic best practices.
