1st Grade to Adults

Calling all dancers in 1st-12th grade and adults who enjoy movement to audition for the Arts Center’s The Nutcracker, A Kansas Ballet. This production is based on E.T.A. Hoffman’s original story and set in Lawrence, Kansas during the Civil War era. This newly envisioned ballet production tells the story of how Drosselmeyer and Clara liberate the wooden Nutcracker soldier from the clutches of the Mouse King. This family production is for audiences of all ages. Be a part of this winter seasonal favorite!

Auditions are Saturday, September 15.

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to audition time. Attending the audition is FREE and no prepared materials are required to audition. Dancers should arrive wearing appropriate dance attire and be ready to move.  In order to be considered for a role, applicants in grades 1-12 must be actively enrolled in a dance class at any dance school/studio.
