Summer Youth Theatre Auditions

Summer Youth Theatre is a performance-based theatre art program for 1st-12th graders. Professional directors, choreographers, musicians, and theatre technicians work with youth to produce high quality shows performed for enthusiastic, often sold-out audiences. Most importantly, SYT youth have fun, make new friends, and create memories that last a lifetime! Check below for show titles and details.

• The Rookie Company (1st-4th grade) does not need to audition.
• Junior and Senior companies require an audition that will take place Sunday, April 29.
• Show rehearsal and performance dates below.
• 8th graders can choose between SYT Junior and Senior Programs.

Those auditioning should come prepared with:

• • a monologue (30-60 seconds)
  • If auditioning for a musical, prepare 16 bars of a Broadway song with sheet music
  • If auditioning for a musical, come prepared to dance
  • Arrive 20 minutes prior to your audition time in appropriate dance attire and ready to move
