Every piece Amy Gray works on endeavors to capture the essence of things she has seen and places she has traveled, whether it’s an Icelandic landscape, a magnificent Bali sunset or a field of tulips in Holland. Amy uses different hues, lines and shapes to express the abstract beauty of our surroundings.

Amy Gray moved to the Midwest from the East Coast in 2006.  She is inspired by color, shapes and the natural world around her. She works in various mediums and styles, including geometric, abstract and landscapes. She often endeavors to capture the beauty of the American Great Plains. Her work has won various prizes and has been featured in the West Elm catalog.
