The annual Benefit Art Auction funds the Exhibitions Program, keeping exhibits free and open to the public for nearly 50 years. This year the auction will feature more than 150 works of art generously donated by participating artists.

Artist Statement:
Shelter is an exhibition of narrative landscapes by Lawrence artist Molly Frances Murphy. Murphy integrates motherhood and art in explorations of wild spaces and protected natural environments in which she and her daughter often work together. Shelter examines times of uncertainty and upheaval and the intimate connections of the natural world, which can provide solace and growth.
