The Lawrence Arts Center is dedicated to supporting the work of local artists and to infusing energy into the cultural life of the region.

We invite artists from around the world to work in our facility, to share their expertise, to teach and interact with the community, and to create new work. From commissions to year-long residencies, we support the creative and dynamic interplay of the familiar and the new.

We are committed to helping local artists compete for federal, state, and private funding. The following links include lists of online grant resources as well as select grant, fellowship, and residency opportunities especially for visual and performing artists.
