Free State Festival:
The Free State Festival brings the very best in independent film, music, art, and ideas to the Lawrence Cultural District each June. The 2016 Free State Festival will run from June 20th-25th.
East Ninth Project:
The East Ninth Project brings local and regional artists, architects, and designers together to renovate nine blocks of Ninth Street, running east from Massachusetts to Delaware, creating a safe and sustainable artistic streetscape for the Lawrence community to enjoy. This project would not be possible without the support of the City of Lawrence and ArtPlace America.
Every other year, the Lawrence Arts Center hosts two days of talks and demonstrations by internationally-known ceramics artists. This year’s symposium will take place from March 11-12th, 2016.
Every other year, the Lawrence Arts Center celebrates Lawrence’s printmaking traditions with a week of talks, demonstrations, exhibits, and print sales. The next print week will take place in the fall of 2017.
