Drawing Instructor Remix is a survey of drawing & painting taught by four instructors. Each instructor will teach a two week section in their areas of expertise. If you want different points of view or just love to draw and paint, this class is for you. All levels welcome!

Session one June 7 & 14: Matt Lord – These Drawing Loose class sessions will be filled with quick drawings almost all done from the student’s imagination and memory. There will also be collaborative drawings and methods for making quick comic panels without plotting out a story, using spontaneous drawing.

Session two June 21 & 28: Jess Belangee-Englert – Abstract drawing techniques that have a multimedia approach. We will be drawing some things from observation but abstracting them and layering information with line and color.

Session three July 5 & 12: Blanca Herrada – Mixed Media watercolor, with demonstrations on using watercolors, incorporating collage and mixed media.

Session four July 19 & 26: Kent Smith – Drawing Lawrence: Urban Sketching! Draw from life at a different location each week and learn new tricks to take your sketches to the next level.
