Don’t miss your chance to pick up tips from one of the Midwest’s finest artists as Louis Copt offers his guidance and advice during a one-day oil painting workshop later this month.
Copt has been teaching painting and drawing classes at the Arts Center for more than 20 years, and was the featured artist at our 2017 Benefit Art Auction. During his upcoming workshop he will start the day with demonstrations and discussion on topics including color mixing, canvas stretching, and paint application. After lunch students will have the opportunity to try out new techniques or work on in-progress paintings under Copt’s watchful eye.
