New Class Alert: Irish Step Dance For Teens and Adults

Do you love Celtic music and the lively rhythms of Irish Step Dance? Then come in and dance a jig with our Irish Step guru, Annie Stark!

Annie is a third-generation Irish dancer with roots in Sligo, Ireland. She is a champion dance competitor and teacher with the Driscoll School of Irish Dance in Shawnee, where she trains and competes year round. She is also a company member of Ceili at the Crossroads, a Kansas City-based company that fuses traditional and modern Irish dance with contemporary.

Along with being a dancer, Annie is an accomplished Irish fiddler, and performs Sundays as the in-house dancer at O’Dowds Irish Pub in Kansas City. The mixture of the two art forms encourages a unique perspective on Irish dance. Annie studied violin at the Chicago College of Performing Arts.
