We are half way through our first round of fall classes and our young artists have been hard at work dabbling in drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, mixed media, and so much more. Didn’t get signed up for the first round of fall? No worries! Round two is right around the corner with more exciting classes starting the week of October 18! Here are just a few of our upcoming class offerings:
We still have some virtual offerings too:
October is full of fun, with two upcoming all-day art experiences in our School’s Out classes as well. When school is out, art is in!
Howl at the Moon – Create art that is inspired by that lunar luminary, the moon! We will investigate light and shadow to create moonlit paintings, experiment with texture moon prints, and more in this day of artful discovery!
Supermarket Stunners – Get lost in the supermarket as we make art inspired by the colors, textures, shapes, and patterns in the grocery story. We will take inspiration from pop artists as we investigate package logos, create food sculptures, discuss nutrition, and make sweet candy art.
Be sure not to miss out on our Teen Abstract Workshop on December 4. The weather will no doubt be getting cold, but our studios are heated by creativity!
Enjoy some photos from our Youth Arts Studio class below. These students have been working on collaborative printmaking projects, modeling magical mushroom people, and becoming experts on the color wheel.
