Our team keeps growing! Welcome Mike Cerv to the ceramics faculty!

Mike Cerv received his Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus in Ceramics from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2017 and his Masters of Fine Arts with a focus in Ceramics from Louisiana State University in 2021. He has taught at the Clay Art Center in Port Chester, N.Y.; in Kansas City at the KC Clay Guild and Belger Art Center; and online as a founding member of Mud Ties. Cerv currently works as a teaching resident artist at KU’s Interdisciplinary Ceramics Research Center in Lawrence.

He is teaching a special class for us this fall:

Wobbly Potter: Pots out of Round. Fridays, Sept. 10 – Dec. 3, 1 -3pm $250 ($225)
