For the second year in a row, we’ve been honored to be a part of the fabulous Transformations Charity Gala produced by Deja Brooks! In this red carpet event, ten community members compete on behalf of local charities by transforming into drag queens for a fun night of performance, evening gowns, and question and answers. This year, our very own Performing Arts Director Emeritus stepped up to the plate on behalf of the Arts Center, to become “Bunny” in an absolutely joyful rendition of Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5”!

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Ric, his supporting performers – Margaret, Amanda, Reid, and Landon – and the entire Transformations team. Congratulations to this year’s winner, Derrick Hurst of Rainbow Kids & Families. Transformations is such a wonderful event for our community and we are so lucky to be a part of it.

Ric, and last year’s Arts Center competitor, Jeff Burkhead, will always be our Queens!
