Five stARTup Artists to Be Featured for May Final Friday

Five of our graduating stARTup artists, Symon Knox, Ruby McLendon, Quincy Grove, Addie Thornsbury, and Wil Myslivy, were featured during April Final Friday, with shows opening at a variety of downtown galleries and public spaces. This month, artists Violet Amouak, Mina Dailey, Juliana Wilches, Liam Hoey-Kummerow, and Maya Welslander will celebrate their own openings on Friday, May 31st. We congratulate our stARTup students, and invite you to join in the festivities for:

Maya Weslander

Maya Weslander focuses on printmaking and illustration, drawing from the intimate moments and personal experience.

Inspired by historical constructivist propaganda posters, Liam Hoey-Kummerow’s work imbeds social messaging in bold compositions.
