Early Education Director Linda Reimond and Assistant Andria Devlin attended special performances of Color Play this week with arts based preschoolers, kindergarteners, and friends from Head Start and Haskell Indian Nations University’s Little Nations. Here’s what they had to say about this sneak peek into this special production for very young audiences opening to the public on October 5.
“Color Play is must see. Lots of action and interaction, quiet and boisterous, music and gales of laughter, fast and slow, and never dull. A treat for the little ones and their adults as well. As one child said leaving the performance, ‘That blew my mind in a bazillion pieces!’ The Lawrence Arts Center’s Theatre for the Very Young really knows what kids like.”
– Linda Reimond
“Color Play is a magical experience for the entire family. How could it not be with giggles, AstroTurf, bubbles, imagination, lots of surprises, and a love of early childhood all wrapped up in a delightful performance that will leave you smiling and wanting more?”
– Andria Devlin
