STEAM Selected for Harvard PEAR Study
In related news, the Lawrence Arts center was selected by the Harvard PEAR institute to participate in a national study as an effective provider of STEAM education. Recently, Youth Visual Arts Education Coordinator Neal Barbour worked with students enrolled in our summer youth programs to conduct this research. Striving to raise awareness of the importance of arts education, we are thrilled to receive this recognition at the national level. The data received from LAC participation will be available this October, and you can visit https://www.thepearinstitute.org/ to learn more about the program and its mission.
Many of our new sessions begin the week of September 9th!
We hope to see you in the studio soon.
