We’d like to extend a special thank you to our friends at Lawrence Signup for helping us install Braille signage throughout the building! From the upstairs visual arts and dance classrooms to the downstairs printmaking studios and performing arts venues, we seek to make spaces for art-making and community-building that are accessible to everyone.
In other exciting news, our main stage theatre will soon feature a brand new assistive listening system called the Hearing Loop. This wireless technology transmits onstage sound directly to guests’ hearing aids equipped with a T-coil – a small coil of wire designed to pick up a magnetic signal. This installation was made possible by generous support from the Douglas County Community Foundation and additional funding from Velocity Church.
