At the Lawrence Arts Center, kindergarten students get individualized attention. With one teacher for every six students, we’ve created a supportive classroom climate where children show kindness to each other, allowing students to truly blossom.
With individual attention and instruction we learn:
• Higher level questioning
• Impromptu learning based on student interest
• We can learn from mistakes

Made possible by a gift from the Thomas D. Galloway Family, the curriculum developed for this groundbreaking arts-based kindergarten completes the continuum of the award-winning academic programming pioneered at the Arts Center. With a special focus on preparing young students to develop innovation skills, the arts-based approach sets the stage for a lifetime love of learning.
