Incredible Interns at the Lawrence Arts Center!

Did you know the Lawrence Arts Center has studio internships? They are great work exchange opportunities within our Printmaking and Ceramics studios! Applications are open now for the coming year.

We also wanted to take the opportunity to recognize and thank our outgoing studio interns, Michelle Rogne in the Ceramics Studio and Anne Luben in the Printmaking Studio.

Michelle Rogne took on the challenge of assisting with our annual Souper Bowl and has continued to impress. Michelle has shown her passion for ceramics and care for our studio through proactive organization and involvement. Her interest in the study of all things ceramics has been evident in her enthusiasm and willingness to roll up her sleeves and learn firsthand. Michelle’s dedication to her craft and the LAC studio has improved the already amazing creative environment within the studio. We look forward to her continued participation in classes and watching her  work in our studios. You can find Michelle’s work here.

Anne Luben played a vital role  assisting with the Lawrence Arts Center’s Print Week this past Fall. She will be participating in the Steamroller Print at this year’s Art Tougeau Parade and then moving into an instructor role for our Summer Programming! We are thankful for her ability to participate with such excellence at so many levels. You can find Anne’s artwork here.
