Sculpting Fabric with Liza MacKinnon

Our new Sculpting Fabric class with Liza MacKinnon will explore multiple materials and forms. Students will learn hand sewing techniques to create more than 12 different forms of flowers using anything from burnt organza to ribbon cockade. Layers of cotton, felt, ribbons, beads, and accessories from Liza’s personal stash of treasures will be used to create these enchanting fiber sculptures for your home, hair, and jacket lapel. If you want to translate your new skills into creating a fanciful fascinator, buckram bases will be available for purchase. There will also be a class devoted to making felt plushies, doll clothes, and Boston Terrier heads!

Sculpting Fabric is on Monday nights from 6:30-8:30 pm starting March 26th. Enroll today!
