On a cold, snowy day last Saturday, Lawrence Ballet Theatre (LBT) dancers traveled to Omaha, NE to perform with Heartland Youth Ballet, a fellow Regional Dance America/Mid-States member company. Company dancers performed two pieces, which will be presented in Lawrence this Spring at the Emergence concert on April 27 & 28: ‘Sense of…’, an introspective, contemporary piece performed en pointe and choreographed by Robert Gosnell; and ‘There Ain’t No A’, a lighthearted, fun contemporary piece incorporating Latin rhythms, choreographed by Kristopher Estes-Brown.
