Did you know that many of the exhibitions shown at the Lawrence Arts Center every year come to us by way of proposals from independent curators and artists? The Arts Center welcomes proposals for exhibitions that are aesthetically strong, and that provide the community with the opportunity to explore topics of cultural, artistic, and social relevance.

In the submission process, we ask that you include your resume, 10 images of artwork, and a statement that explains the concept or theme of the exhibit as well as necessary technical details. Further details and the online submission form can be found here. The Arts Center presents approximately 25 exhibitions per year in a variety of media, and exhibit proposals are accepted year-round.
